He asked that he should be allowed to become an annuitant in connection with the aged and infirm ministers' fund from that date.—Rev. J. Kilpatrick said he was sure that the Presbytery regretted very much the reason" for" Mr M'lntyre's impending resignation, and lie had the sympathy of the whole of the Presbytery. He moved—" That the Assembly be recommended to place Mr M'lntyre on the aged and infirm ministers' fund, and he be given the status of minister emeritus, with -i seat in the church courts, as from the date of his resignation." —Rev. A. M. Dalrymple seconded the motion, which was carried. The Presbytery made the following appointments to the Assembly committees : —Business Committee: Rev. A. M. Pin'layson. Lennox asking to be taken on trial for license.—After consideration in committee it was decided to forward the petition to the General Assembly, with a recommendation that it be granted. The Finance Committee recommended that grants for repairs to the Chineso Church and the manse at South Taieri be approved.—Adopted. % The Rev. R. R. M.
