DEFENCE RIFLE- CLUB'. The Dunedin Defence Rifle Club fired the second competition for the president's prizes on Saturdav. Scores:

NORTH DUNEDIN .GUN CLUB. The above club held their shcot on Saturday last. The weather was perfect for pigeon shooting, and a large number of shooters journeyed to the club's ground at North-cast Valley to participate in a 12-bird match for a gold medal presented by Mr T. Long. The contest was very keen, and some exceptionally fine sliqoting was done, that of H. King being worthy of special mention.

The first competition for No. 2 Match was completed on Saturday. The conditions were : —Seven shots and sighter at 500 and 600 yards. Scores;
