Yesterday levelling the West Harbor Council congratulated Mr E. Ivellett ou hk appointment as a member of the Military Service Board. Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M., who has been in Wellington on business in connection with the Otago Military Service Board, of which ho is chairman,' returned to Dunedin .last evening. Air Frank Levy is in town to arrange for the Horace Golden season. Major N. Dodds, of the Port Chalmers Garrison Artillery, received this morning the long-service medal of the Kew Zealand Auxiliary Forces, he having put in 20 years’ unbroken service as an officer.
