Goldie, wore a wedding gown of white satin, with overdress of beautiful Carrickmacross lace, tho gift ot her aunt, Airs Goldie, Port Chalmora. She completed it with the usual wreath and veil, and wore a string of pearls, the bridegroom’s gift. The bridesmaid. Miss Margaret Matt, was frocked in pale pink ninon over silk, jjicture hat in black and., pink, and wore an aquamarine brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr Janies Menc.Jaus acted as best man.

Mr John Fuller, jun.. will come to Dunedin by the first express fo-morivrw on y, flying visit. Lieutenant Alfred D. G. Wrigglosworth, killed in action in France, was bom in Wellington, and was the son of the into Mr J, D, Wriggle sworth, senior partner in the firm of Messrs Wiigarleswort-h and Bimis, of Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Lieutenant MYtegleswortii received his education a.t \Vellingtou College. and when his parents moved ovor to Melbourne completed his studies at the Church of England Grammar School in-i-hat- city._ He was engaged in. commercial pursuits when tho war broke out, and enlisted as a private in the Ist Australian Expeditionary Force which left- for Egypt. Ho took part in the historic landing at Gallipoli, and for several months afterwards was engaged in the fighting incidental to that campaign. For brave and meritorious services in front- of tho enemy ho was promoted 2nd lieutenant. Eventually getting wounded, he was invalided to a. hospital in London. On his recovery, he accepted a lieutenancy in an English regiment, and for several months was on service on the east coast of England in consequence of tho enemy Zeppelin and submarine activities in that region. On the 26th July last ho was ordered to France, and met his death during the recent fighting in the Somme offensive!
