There is conOniious fighting, and the enemy only pan-e (o hastily prepare new attacks. \A ith their crushing artillery and infantry superiority they are indulging in perfectly horrible orgies of modern and i-.-ientiilc destruction. The German soldiers are fighting in hell, making the most gigantic sacrifices for the Fatherland. How long can this slaughter hast? The correspondent points out That the enemy are immensely strong. while Germany is compelled to hold “the whole of the. west front and a greater portion of the east front, while supporting her allies in the Carpathians. Transylvania, the Dobnidja. and Turkey.
