As there has lately been some difficulty experienced by the" school children in obtaining wool to knit into garments inr our soldiers at the front, the Overseas Club have decided to call upon the public of Dunediu to assist the children and support a street- collection, which will be held in the City on Friday. The executive of the club are confident, that their scheme will be generously supported, and arc working hard to make it a success. Stalls for the sale of goods have on this occasion been dispensed with, and a straight-out collection will be the order of the day. The school bands will assist the club by playing in the City on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
