SALE OF WORK
To-night, at the Salvation Armv Hall King Edward street, South Dunedin, the sale of work in connection with the raising of funds for the Army’s work in that district will be continued. Tho chair to-night will bo taken by Adjutant Wyatt, and the programme will be given by outside performers, among whom will be some of Miss Mazengarb’s pupils. The hall last evening was filled, and the stallholders and those in charge of the refreshment rooms did good business. Last night's programme was given by the City Band. Mr W. T. M'Farlane, Mayor of St. Kilda, was chairman. Thursday night will be the concluding night’ when tho programme will be rendered by a local singing company and Sunday school scholars. Captain VrKenzio is anxious that the Army’s many friends in South Dunedin shall come to their help.
