The Linda Rebekah Lodge met oa Frilay evening, when there was a representative attendance from tbe various Rebekah lodges of Dunedin, several brothers also being present. The feature of the proceedings was a presentation to Sister Alice Gillies, L.D.D.G.M., who is leaving for the North Island. Sister Gillies has done excellent work for the Rebekah brandi for a good many years. Bro James Pattison, a charter 'member and P.N.G. of Linda Lodge, made kindly reference to Sister Gillies's ability, and expressed regret at her departure. lie then presented her with an inscribed gold emblem brooch from Linda, Ruth, and Miriam Rebekah Lodges. Sister Gillies feelingly replied. Sister M. Kemnitz, P.L.D.D.G.M., was elected and installed as successor to Sister Gillies for the remainder of the term.
