(Received April 11, at 1.40 p.m.) A Berlin wireless message states: AVe repulsed attempts by English bombing parties to recapture" tho craters at St. Eloi. West of tho Mouse we isolated two fortified points of support called "Alsace" and "Lorraine," south-west of Bethincourt. 'Hie enemy sought to avoid the danger by a hasty retreat, but the Silesians cut them off -and inflicted sanguinary losses. We captured 700 unwounded men, two field guns, and 17> machine guns. AVe also cleared the front duo north-of tho villages of Avocourt. the south of Crow's Wood, and tho ravine south-west of Poivre Hill.
