Investments were in good demand on ’Change this morning. Three parcels of Union Steams were sold at £1 9s Bd. More parcels were to be had at £1 9s 9d, but buyers would not go beyond £1 9s Bcl. Dominion Rubbers ’are, still hardening, and a parcel changed hands at £1 13s 6d, The market closed with holders quoting £1 14s. Buyers are offering £1 16s for Standard Insurance and £2 10s 8d for National Insurance. Westport Stockton sellers are quoting £1 8s Bd. National Mortgage arc. on offer at £3 17s 6d, and Wright, .Stephenson are eoimht at £7 17s sd. Quotations : —Dredging.— Electric—Sel 4/3.
