RE RECRUITING COSDIITPEES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—The composition of some of the recruiting committees has struck me as he.ing very strange. For instance, you will see some of the members apparently not too old yet to handle a gun and do a trek. »-iich persons do not do recruiting much good, for how can you expect a man to enlist by the persuasions of another apparently younger than himself? if nil members of recruiting committees under 45 were wearing the medically unfit armlet then no one could take exception to them ; otherwise I think it is injudicious lor them to he on any committee. I am, etc., Interested. April 1.
