MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The Portobelio Miniature Rifle Club fired their finish of a competition for prizes presented by Messrs A. and W. McCarthy, Arthur Barnett, H, Treveua, A. Roy, and Johnston on Wednesday afternoon. The shooting was very close, and two ties resulted. Messrs Clark and Arnott tied for first and champion place, and in shooting off the latter won by a point. For fifth, prize Messrs Smith and J. J. M'Cartney tied, and the former won in the shoot-off. The shooting on Wednesday was 10 shots at 150 yds and 200 yds, and the conditions of the competition were beet three scores out of five.
