SYDNEY. April 1. (Received April 1, at 9.25 a.m.) In the New South Wales Legislative. Assembly Mr Osborne resurreeted Ills Totalisator Bill, and obtained leave, to introduce it as an urgenev measure. The Bill was read a first’time.
BRANDY SCARCE
SYDNEY. April 1. (Received April 1, at 0.15 a.m.) Owing to the shortage of both Ercnc-lr supplies and the locally produced articD stocks of brandies are running low, and prices have advanced materially. It is stated that in some instances thev are 150 per cent, above pre-war figure's.
