Tho secretary’s report disclosed the fact that, notwithstanding tho dislocation caused by tho war, the number of benefit members remained the same as last year. Tho initiations just balanced the loss through death and other causes. Bro. Ainslio presented a P.C ruler s emblem and an e.p. inkstand to r°A a -' nd Houston in appreciation ot them services as office-bearers. An excellent programme of music, sonc etc was rendered by tho following members and friendsMcsdames Reekie and Atchison, Misses Christie, O’Kane, and il.nK JSO A’r * A 4 eSSr ? Baucho P> Slyfield, and Jiratt. Mr Bauchop, jun., acted as accompanist. Refreshments were handed round, alter which tho young people engaged m games and dancing until 11.30.
