Up to last year's arjiiversary Australia had sont 30.000 men to the front. Now she. had 134,000 men there, besides 50,000 waiting in oan-pe. Twelve months ago Austraba w,-v, dependent upon Great Britain to finance the war; r.ow she was primarily financing her own part herself.
