CITY POLICE COURT. (Before H. Y. Widdowson, Esq,, S.M.) Drunkenness.—Two first offenders wore fined 5s each, with the usual alternative. George Jeffs, 10s, or 24 hours, and Thomas Farrell and Randolph Creagh each 20s or three days, for drunkenness. Truant Act.—Benjamin Tall was fined 10s for failing to send his child to school. A similar penalty was inflicted upon John Thow on each of two charges for a similar offence*
