The utter impossibility to'attest all the applicants fully justified the extension. So man;' applicants were unattested that to-day promises to rival Saturday, which easily broke all records. Most of the o'lices attested men at, the rate of oCO an hour. .South London enrolled 11.CC0 during the day. The Lambeth officials were overworked, and were forced to send 500 men in one batch to Camberwell, where the total for the day was 3,000. Othor districts had excellent results.
