The land was disposed of after keen competition to Mr W. J. .M'Cutcheon, of Ravensbourne, for £lB 15s per acre, the leasehold being given in. The term is for 21 years, and the annual rental 9s per acre. Messrs Alex. Harris and Go. held a sale of freehold properties at their rooms today. Part section 8, blocs 6. South Dunedin, fronting Melbourne road (adjoining reserve), area 50.12 poles, with two cottages thereon, was first submitted to a large attendance of prospective bnvers. Bidding was keen, and Mr C. Mitchell was named as the purchaser at £2lO. Another property in the same locality was passed in, the last bid not reaching the reserve. THE WOOL SALES. ADELAIDE, November 23.
