(Received November 23, at 1.55 p.m.) x .Official : In the Dardanelles two .British aeroplanes, successfully -attacked the railway station at Feredjik, near Enos, on Friday, November 19." One machine was brought down by the enemy's fire, but the pilot managed to land in the marshes on the- opposite side of the river, where he burnt his machine. The- second pilot, seeing t-ho mishap,- landed beside him and brought him away just in time, to escape capture by the Turks, who ran to the spot. At Russell's Top, in t-ho Anzao zone, where the Turks recently fired a mine, wc occupied on Saturday part of -the enemy's underground works. A fight occurred underground. Two Turks wore shot by our officers, and,, several others were killed with bombs. [Feredjik is about 12 miles inland from Enos, and is on the railway line which runs from Constantinople, past Dcdeagatoh, to .Seres and Salonika. The river mentioned would be the Maritza-.]
