CRISIS IN GREECE.
KING VERSUS PREMIER. VENEZELOS AGAIN RESIGNS. ATHENS, October 6. (Received October 7, at 8.45 a.m.) King Constantine informed M. Venczelos that he would be unable to pursue his Cabinet’s policy to the end. M. Venezelos thereon resigned the Premiership. The population of Salonika gave an ovation to the allied troops when the latter started for the Serbian frontier. Baron Schenck, the chief German propagandist in Greece, has hurriedly quitted Athens for Sofia. It is reported that there are 3,000 German officers with the Bulgarian army. A SHIFTY MONARCH. VENEZELOS LET DOW’N. ATHENS, October 6. (Received October 7, at 11.45 a.m.) The King has accepted the Cabinet’s resignation. M. Venezelos, on being interviewed, said that after his clear declarations in the Chamber on his Cabinet’s policy, the lines of which were otherwise well known to the King, the latter informed him that further co-operation between them had been rendered impossible, hi. Venezelos believes that tho King favors a coalition Cabinet.
