News has been a-eoeived that distributing broad cards havo been introduced in Vienna. Paris reports that north of Albert a night atladv against the French trenches was repulsed alter hand-to-Land lighting. "In the "Argomie region there was vigorous fighting throughout the night. The Allies demolished a b'ockhouse, took 300 metres, and maintained the. gain despite two coun-ter-attacks. In tho wood at Dailiy the French obtained the mastery of a new line of trenches. At Montmartre the Germans succeeded at night in recapturing the trenches lost during the day. All the positions gained by the Allies on Thursday remain entirely in their possession. The French havo thrown 155 bombs on tho maritime station and foundry at Bruges.
