An analysis of tin; soap will bo made prior to the inquest. A BICYCLIST'S DEATH. John Morrison, 45 years of age, was accidentally killed at Goodwood yesterday. A. threshing mill, drawn by a. traction engine, was moving from Anderson's farm to Jack's fai:n. -when, in a narrow road, Mr Morrison and another man, on hicy.les, tried to pass. Mr Morrison's bicycle skidded, and the rider was thrown under ike wheels of the mill, thus sustaining injuries from which he. died in on hour. An jv. quest was held this mornOVER A CLIFF. While on duty at the Lyttelton Defence electric light station to-day, 4 Frank Olsen and Owen Oavr fpll over a' cliff. Olsen sustained a fractured skull, and his condition is serious. The coroner has been notified. The Rev. Father Lynch, of Palmerston, had another narrow escape from a serious accident when motoring down from Macraes I.lst week (says ' Pahnerston Times.'). Whilst the car was travelling down the steep hill from Macraes the brakes failed to act properly, and it crashed into a bank with disastrous results to the car. The friends of the rev. gentleman will be glad that he escaped injury.
