To-day. Fat Cattle--125; a, tmiali yarding of fair-quality cattle. Prices were much firmer on account, of the small yarding. Quotations : Best bullocks, £l2 10s to £l3 10s r ejcira., to £ls 10s ; medium, £lO IGs to £11; inferior, £8 10s to £9 10s ; best cows and heifers. £8 to £9; extra, to £11; medium, £6 to £7: inferior, £5 Ss to £3 15e. Fat Sheep.—2,427; a medium yarding of fair quality. Prices at the commencet. of the sale were firmer, but they eased considerably towards the close. Quotations: Best wethers, 245; io 2Sa 6d; extra, to 31s ; medium, 21s to 225; inferior, 19s to 20s ; best ewes, 220 to 23s ; extra, to 265; medium, 18s to 19s; inferior, 15s to 14s. Lambs. —2,171 ; a. medium yarding of fair quality. Prices were easier, export buyers not being so keen. Quotations: Best lambs, 17s to 18s; extra, to 21s; medium, 15s to 16s; inferior, 13s to 14s.
