Canterbury, 4§d per lb soi light-weight ; North Island, 4|d for lightv.eight ; ewes, 3^d Lamb.—The weather lately has been unfavorable to the sale of lamb, and holders are accepting a small reduction in prices, except for light-weight, Canterbury, twos, which aie quoted at 6^d; heavy-weight, fours 5Jd ; other than Canterbury, 6 3-16 d; light-weight (light), 5 13-l6d. fteef.—Market quiet, and small business doin<'. No demand for fores. New Zealand hinds 4|d, fores 3-gd; chilled hind a 5-,Jd, fores 3£d : Butter. —Market steady, and likely to remain to. Danish, per cwt, 120s to 122s : New Zealand (nominal) 112s to 114s, uncalled 116s to 118s; Australian. 100s to 118s; Siberian. 100s to 102s; Irich Crcamcrv. lifts to 112s. Cheese. —Market firm. Prices continue to advance. Canadian, quiet, per cwt. _62s 6cl to 63s 6d .- New Zealand, more inquiry, white and colored. 63s to 645. The estimated Canadian cheese eetocks on July 1 in London, Liverpool, and Bristol were 91.000 boxes, against 93,000 last year. Tito New Zealand and Australian stocks on July 1 at London and Bristol were 18X00 crates. a«ainst 15.000 last year. Hemp.—Manila market very quiet, with verv little trade demand. The total quantity afloat at present is 105,000 bales, while the spot stocks at London and Liverpool arc nearly 100,000 bales. Fair current is quoted at £24 per ton ; forward shipment at £25. The output from Manila for the week was 17.000 bales. The New Zealand market continues dull at nominal values. Gord fair, £'2s; fah", £22 15s; July to September shipments—good fair £25 10s, fair £23. The eieal market is qniet, and prices are slightly weaker. The New York quotation is 5 cents, equal to £24 ss. c.i.f., Europe. The stocks at the end of May were 44,379 bales, against 107.28S last vear. . , , , Tow.--Better demand during last few davs. Average price, third grade, on spot, pel- ton, £l2 ss; second grade, forward shipment, £l3. Oats.—Moderate business has been a<mo in A grade Gallons at about, 21s, c.i.f. Beans.—Fair average quality, New Zea. land, offered at 355, c.i.f. July shipment-, no business reported. FeacJ. —Fair average quality, Zsew Zealand, near positions, have sold at 48s 3d ; Juno to July shipments. 50s 6d. The demand for spot supplies is good. Cocksfoot.—Danish cocksfoot, 90 prr cluil. growth purity, is quoted at 575; September shipment, no business being done with New Zealand. Kauri gum, sld ; scraped, pale. £9 to S10; other prices same as before. Market firm. Six packaaes were offered and sold. The stock at the end of June was 591 ton.».
