HANOVER STREET CHURCH

The Rev. A. T. Brainsby, who is to conduct a special mission in the Hanover Street Baptist Church for 10 days, commencing to-night, was formerly minister of the Fulham Baptist Church, London, and recently of tho principal church in Adelaide. He has recently conducted a mission at Auckland, the attendances at which increased until the Tabernacle was crowded. He subsequently conducted a mission in Wellington. Mr Brainsby impresses his hearers with the sanity of his methods and the power of his message. One of the features of the mission, to which much of the success is attributable, is the solo singing of Mrs Brainsby. who immediately upon her arrival in Wellington was engaged by the Choral Society as contralto soloist for one of its oratories. Mrs Brainsby will sing at each service.
