MEETING OF CREDITORS.

The adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Alfred Edward Laney, journeyman butcher, was continued this afternoon, rind the Assignee summarised the position. Bankrupt owes £lo3' 4h Bd, and his assets are a nominal £lO, The Assignee (Mr Kendall) said that since the last meeting bankrupt had producid all his receipts and expenditure over a period of three years. Summarised, the norition was that ho had paid in rent £66 16s 7d, in maintenance under the Destitute Persons .Act £sl. 18s 6d. He had repaid £142 5s of .borrowed money, and other accounts amounting to £174 Is 7d.
