Two Mexican gunboats, the Huerta and Mexico, followed by the American cruiser T&coma, have left Tampico. Huerta has ordered the gunboats to seize the cargo of the Cuban steamer Antilla, now on route to Tampico, and consigned to Carranaa.

(Received June 9, at 11.40 a.m.) A drunken Mexican attempted to interfere with the Mexican police, and United States Infantry Lieutenant Houston shot him dead.

General Funston (U.S.A.) reports _ that the Mexican attacked Houston with a knife, therefore the act was justifiable homicide. No further action is considered necessary.
