In addressing the grani r juiy thll morning, Mr Justice Sim said that them were only two cases for trial. His Hanoi dealt at some length with the Gwaldioe murder, but said the grand jury w«*M have no difficulty with regard to th* ease. He was ordered to pay £lO, or to be detained for three months in default.
NAPIEB. The Supreme Court oftened with ft very light criminal calendar. Mr Justice Boskinig was welcomed by the Bar. Roy King pleaded guilty to the theft of a. motor and discharging a firearm at Fred Lowe. Sentence was deferred.
Edward George Eoberts is now being tried on a charge of manalaughter—causing the death of John Adam*—at Waipawa.
