LAND SALE
At the auction sale of Crown lauds, held this morning, a number ql sections were offered at Ivurow, Pembroke, Ranfurly, Havelock {Tuapska County), Manuberikia, Newhaven (Clutha County), and Lower Hawea eurvey district, the areas ranging from one acre to nine acres-. For the Manuherikia sections the bidding was spirited, section 15, of block 8, containing a. lit>tle over scrven acres, "briuging £67 IG«j, while- £2l 5s was paid for section 22. Tbs Kurow eeetions were all passed in, and a number of Ranfurly sections went at tho upset,price of £7 10s. The majority of the other 'sections offered wers sold at tha ppset.
