"WHAT IS THE VEEDEE?"

To remove any falsa notions which may exist concerning the Veedee Vibrator—‘‘what it is,” “what it does,” and “who uses it’—the following particulars may prove of value:— The “Veedee” is a little hand-worked machine, weighing about 20oz, which produces the counterpart of hand massage, .but which, on account of attaining the great speed of 8,000 revolutions per minute, is more penetrative, and multiplies the good effects a hundred-fold, to say nothing of securing results in an infinitely shorter space of tune. It is not new, having been patented in England more than 10 years ago, but it has gone on from success to success until it has an army of users, including the highest in the land. Kings, queens, politicians, diplomats, divines, leading authors, actors, actresses, lawyers, etc., etc., etc., use the machine, and proclaim its virtues in no uncertain voice. It is the machine about -which Madame Melba is so enthusiastic, as her written testimonial shows. The famous athlete, Mr G. B. Fry, had much to say of its qualities in his magazine, published in London, and our no less famous physical culturist, Mr Eeg. L. (Snowy) Baker, was equally keen on advising all with a care for their health to go in for Veedee mechanical massage. The fate W. T. Stead was ever urging the London proprietor of the “ Veedee ” to branch out, and let tho whole world know of the wonderful curative _ value of the “Veedee.” A demonstration is to bo given at the Burns Hall, Dunedin, on Friday evening, (May 8, to which all are invited.' Admission is free, but to ensure getting a seat it is advisable to write for reserved tickets, issued without charge on receipt of stamped addressed envelope by the Vedee Company, Dunedin.—[Advt.]
