HOLLAND’S SENTENCE

Th© Southland Saw-mill Workers' Union at their last meeting passed a resolution to the following effect: —" That this onion enter a strong protest against the severity of the sentence passed upon Henry Holland, and join in asking for his immediate release." A copy of the resolution (reports our Invercargill correspondent) is to be forwarded to the Minister of Justice.

The Masterton branch of the Social Democratic party passed a resolution protesting against the “ unjust, sentence ” passed on Holland, and asking for his. immediate release, together with the erasure of his conviction from the Dominion’s prison records.
