LODGE MEETING

The Hope of Dtinedin Lodge of Goorl Templars held their weekly meeting on Friday evening, the C.T. (Bro. M'Keown) presiding. Official notice was recoil J from the Grand Lodge, Wellington, that the challenge shield won by the lodge would be forwarded as soon as 'the name had been engraved. A representative committee was elected to arrange for <he lodge anniversary, at which the shield w'll be presented by the Grand Councillor (Bro. T. H. Dalten. The lodge had challenged the Lily of the Valley Lodge to a contest in the" initiation ceremony. The Pioneer, Lily, and Rescue sent their congratulations to the lodge for having brought the- shield touDunedin. After recess, gift night being the programme, the goods were disposed of by Butch auction for piano fund, a goodly sum being realised. Bro. Paterson replied for the visitors, tors.
