Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright VIENNA, January 18. The Austrian expedition to explore Weddel Laud and Enderby Land, will sail in the steamer Oesterreich (formerly Deutschland) in June. It will establish a wireless station at South Georgia, and send three sleighing parties towards Queen Maud Mountain, Graham Land, and Enderby. The Oesterreich will remain in the bay found in the ice barrier by the Germans. The headquarters will be six miles inland. The expedition will stay for two years. Herr Koenig’s main object is to discover the mutual relations between the eastern and western sections of the Antarctic route.
