OTAGO CRICKET LEAGI K. Standard, playing Hillside A on the Oval on Saturday, won by an innings and 6 runs. Scores : Standard, 68 (Richmond 27, Butler 9) ; Hillside, 43 and 19 (Perkins 9 not out). For Standard Lebhing took one wicket for 12 runs, Butler nine lor 21, Holleyman two for 1, Lane sis for 20. For Hillside Graham six for 21, Symonds three for 36, and W. Evans ono for 5 divided the bowling honors. Haywards v. Rcid and Gray A resulted in a'win for the former by 31 runs. Scores : Haywards, 66 (Robinson 20); Reid and Gray A, 35 (Burns 10,. Palmer, Andrews, and Robinson, for Haywards, and M'Dougall, Hargrans, and M'Farlane for the other side shared the wickets. The match Y.M.C.A. v. Reid and Gray B, played on the Gardens Ground, ended in a Win for the former by six runs, after an exciting game. Scores: Y.M.C.A., 92; Reid and Gray, 86. J. B. Thomson (38) and L. Grigg (27) batted well for Y.M.C.A., while Lamb (16), Morgan (20), and M'Donald (12) did likewise for Reid and Gray. Ma-her, Tara, and Lamb shared the bowling for Reid and Gray. For Y.M.C.A. Hughes, Ireland, Jones, and Weston secured the wickets. The ground was in splendid order—thanks to Mr Tannock —while the wicket with matting spread on the rolled turf played well.
