The Sydney wool sales have resumed, and competition is active at last week's rates. Silver is quoted at ?J\<\ per oz. London advises that for the next wool sales the arrivals total 143,270 bales, of which 40.500 have been forwarded direct. There are available for the sales 140,000 bales. DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE PROPIMETAY, LTD. At a meeting of the directors of the Stock Exchange Proprietary. Ltd.. held yesterday. it was decided to appoint Mr C. Russell Smith, of Messrs John Reid and Son. Ltd., secretary of the company. An interim dividend at the rate of 12 per cent, per annum for the half-year ended October 31 was also declared. This will be payable on the 24th inst.
