Belleknowes Methodist Sunday School celebrated their annivorsavy by special services yesterday week, an<l on Thursday a tea, and concert were given. The performers were mostly drawn from the Sunday school scholars, and it must have been "ratifying to the teachers to note the able manner in which the children acquitted themselves. The other performers were Miss Vealie, who led the singing in the. hunting song, and the Misses Williams in the action song 'Tit for Tat.' Miss Morrison gave two -recitations, and Mr M'C'lellan (ex-superintendent) told a humorous story ('The Lost Railway Ticket'), which was much appreciated. The accompanists were Mrs- Edwards, Mir Turley. and Miss Jeanie Watts. A comprehensive voto of thanks, proposed by Mr Clydesdale, brought the proceedings to a clc.se.
