TO ROB A BANK. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, October 7. (Received October 7, at 10.25 a.m.) Burglars took advantage of the holidays to attempt to rob the branch of the Bank of Now South Wales at the corner of York and Alarkot streets. They entered a warehouse next door, picked a hole through the wall into the bank, and removed the cement and bricks from the wall of the strong room. They were, however, then confronted with tho steel lining of the wall, which proved too much for them, and they desisted.
