WORK AND WAGES
AT BROKEN HILL. TROUBLE NOT OVER. Press Association—Ey Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY. September 20. ■ (Received September 20. at 8.45 a.m.) Though the. bulk of the female and some of the male shop assistants in Broken Hill have resumed work, trouble still exists. Hostile demonstrations have been made, and, to.some extent, the boycott has been utilised against these who'have returned to work. The shops are picketed, but no interference to trade has resulted. There is a possibility that- the unions concerned will call for a. more far-rcachinrr strike.
