COURAGE TO MARRY. INDICTMENT BY STATISTICIANS. (London Times-Sydney Sun Special Cable.) NEW YORK, August 20. Commenting on the enormous number of men in America who are lacking the moral fibre and courage to marry, th-2 statisticians of the Equitable Life Assurance Company report that while an army of single men are lavishing their earnings and affections upon themselves, and while many are developing extravagant and often vicious habits, another great army of young women are forced to toil in factories and business houses for the necessities of life. It is from the ranks of the unmarried there comes humanity's heaviest contribution to immorality and crime.
