LONDON, May 19. (Received May 20, at 11.45 a.m.) Hansen, the American actor, who created a soene Die Garrick Theatre, was charged at Bow street with using threatening language to Mr Arthur Bourchier. Mr Bodkin, K.C., who prosecuted, said that Hansen’s violent threats and abominable language caused Mr Bourchier to fear bodilv harm The police evidence showed extraordinary behaviour on the part of the accused when he was arrested. It took four men to search him. Hansen accused Mr Bourchier of swindling him of £IO,OOO. Hansen, who was very excited, explained that his condition was due to a pending civil action, and his condition in court led the Magistrate to remand him in custody.
