[Pee United Peess Association.] AUCKLAND, May 3. The Prime Minister stated, in the course of his reply to a deputation in reference to expenditure on public buildings, that' within the next two or three weeks tenders would be .called for the new Parlia•rcent Buildings, in Wel.ington. The time had come, Mr Massey said, when it was impossible for Parliament to go on any longer in the old buildings. This meant, in the course of tour years, an expenditure of £250.0t.0. The buildings would probably lake seven or eight years to complete, but about £BO,OOO would be required in the next wear or two.
