MORNINGTON METHODISTS
SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. Tie anniversary services ,of the Sunday school were held last Sunday, when the children sang a number of their hymns, under the direction of Mr T. Holgate. The' ■t*a and concert were held in the school hall last evening, when there was a large ’attendance, the Rev. T. W. Vealie presiding. A couple of pretty vocal tableaux, Dreaming’ and ‘Silver Bells’ were given by a party of young ladies, the solos being taken by Miss E. Payne. 'Miss G. Thomas and a number of the younger girls took part in a recital ‘Father Time,’ while much entertainment was found in a character sketch The Domestic Servant Problem,’ presented by Misses E. Folev, G. - Thomas; Moyle, Seildlin, Harrington, and Frapwell. Pianoforte duets and solos were played,* the following, among others, took part in the programme:—Misses Vealie, M. and V. Sraythe, D. Lamb, A. Guy, M. Miller, Master M. Payne, and Mr Paterson. The annual report and balance-sheet, presented during the evening, states that the Riperintendents are Messrs J. Lowden and T. Holgate, assisted by 21 teachers. The scholars' number 114. The picnic was held bn February 22, and the school library, is being steadily built up. All expenses had been met, the sum of £4 5s had been sent o/!t(>':,lliovlwine mission fund, subscription ;of £1 given .-the college Tinkling fund,
