Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 23. (Received March 24; .at 9.40 a.m.) A violent gale in the English Channel did serious damage at Hastings and Worthing. The piers worn demolished, and the sea invaded the streets for a distance of 200vds.
