AUCKLAND, March 24. A fire in Canada, street. Mount Eden, destroyed the. house occupied by Mr Matthews, and gutted the two adjoining houses occupied by Messrs Morris and Wakeham. The furniture in Matthewss house was destroyed, but that in the other two houses was partly saved.
