A survey shows that the bottom of the warship Psyche is in a bad way. It is believed that almost the whole of the plates must be renewed. The Southampton (England) police state there is nothing to support the theory of foul play in connection with tho death of Frances Leslie on the s.s. Oceanic. The entombed Townshead miners have been rescued.
M. Bergmann, a Frenchman, has been arrested at Metz on a charge of espionage.
