TRINITY CHURCH
Members of the congregation *. of Trinity Methodist Church met in the 6clioolroom last evening, when opportunity was taken to say good-bye to Miss Jessie Kay who is to be marrkd to the Rev. R, B. Tinsley. Miss Kay has been an active worker in the Sunday school and has also taken a keen interest in Bible class work. Presentations were made by Misses Jean Maxwell and Dorothy Rosevear on behalf of the Monday night and Sunday afternoon Bible classes respectively, and by Mr Fairclough on behalf of the Church as a. whole, including the. Sunday school. Miss Kay, in a touching reply, referred to the help she had received through the ministry of Mr Fairclough and the love she had for the Sunday school and Bible classes. Addresses dealing with the recent conference were delivered by Messrs E. A. Rosevear and A. S. Waiisbrough, to the latter of whom Mr Fairclough conveyed the appreciation and good wishes of the. congregation on his approaching aeparturo to Waiiganui. The election of congregational representatives to the quarterly meeting resulted as follows:—Messrs S. Lawn, G. Davies, V. H. Brown, C. Moxham! and J. Tregear. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Misses E. Walton, M'Keich, F. Ackroyd, and Mr W. Penrose. Refreshments were handed round at the close of the proceedings by the members of the Young Women's Bible Classes.
