LAWN TENNIS.

A meeting of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was held in the secretary's board room, Empire Buildings, last night, when there were present—Messrs G. W Gibson (chair), R. S. Brown, S. N. Brown. R. A. Wilkie, J. S. Nicolson. T. Begg, J S, Sinclair. ' hh A report of the quarterly meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association was received. St. Kilda L.T.C. wrote in reference to the match with Moana No. 2. which had been postponed, and stating that it had been found impossible to arrange to play this match off during the evenings in the week. The Town Clerk wrote granting permission to hang cards in the cars. The Secretary reported that he had arranged for extra seating accommodation at the courts for the Easter tournament; that the telephone was now connected at the courts : that arrangements had been made for marquees; and that Miss Murray was going to cater for the tournament. ' Several other details in connection with the. Easter tournament were discussed All arrangements are well in hand, and a most successful tournament is anticipated It was left in the hands of Mr J. S. Sinclair to see the tramway manager, and endeavor to arrange for extra cars at the busy hours.

Mr Sinclair submitted a report in con nection with the Southland match.
