The Duke of Marlborough, in the course of a series of letters in tire ‘ Daily Mail ’ on the land question, states that lie is ploughing his Blenheim Estate in order to increase the national food supply. The Duke, Lord Salisbury, Sir G. Pretyman, Lady Wantage, and others are offering their land to local bodies or a society undertaking to build cottages for farm laborers on co-partnership lines. NATIONAL SERVICE AT ELECTIONS. LONDON, March 17. The polling for the Kendal division of Westmoreland will take place on Tuesday. The chief question is that of national service. Lord Roberts has telegraphed to Colonel Weston wishing him success.
