ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
As Mr A. AL Mazengarb, of this Cilv, was returning from Milton on Saturdayevening ho fell from his motor cycle, and was found about 5.30 p.m. Iving unconscious on the road about Lookout Point. Dr .Rosa Collier was the first, to find him. and rendered assistance, and the injured man was .conveyed to town. Air Mazengarb has quite recovered. Hist Timsday morning (says the ‘Chitha Leader’) a painful accident happened to a young man named Johns, a stranger to the district. Only the previous day he had started to work for Messrs Leonard Bros, on their threshing mill at Hillcnd. On Tuesday morning he, with others, was adjusting the elevator on the mill when it tell, pinning Johns to the ground. The unfortunate young fellow was painfully hurt, his injuries including broken ribs and bruises on the chest. He was sent to the Dunedin, Hospital.
