BIG SUBSCRIPTION TOTALS. [Special to the Star.] WELLINGTON, March 18. The appeal for support of the Waihi and Reeftou miners during those recent disputes resulted in £,35,191 being received by the Federation of Labor. This largo sum was made up pf £25,116 from unions affiliated to the Federation (the total includes £1,328 from Waikato Miners’ Union, £3,38S from Granity miners, £2,861 from Point Elizabeth State miners £2.513 from Blackball miners, £1,277 from Westport-Stockton miners, and £1,049 from Lyttelton waterside workers), while £1.680 .came from other New Zealand organisations outside the Federation, and £9,395 from Australia.
